1947,
year that saw the birth of the Cannes Film Festival, the revival
of the Tour de France bike race, and the appearance of Lucky
Luke
(the French comic book cowboy).
But 1947 also saw
the foundation of the Dairy Co-operative Union France
Lait, which would
later give rise to Régilait.
Lastly, 1947 was the
year that, during a
trip to the United States,
the founders of the Company discovered the technology to dry
milk and, more importantly,
how to instantaneize
powdered milk (instantaneization
being the process which allows powdered milk to dissolve instantly
and completely when mixed with a hot or a cold liquid).
After several years of determined work, the industrial development
teams were able to optimise this unique technology, which
was and still is, the secret of Régilaits success:
revolutionising the lives of millions of French people!
